Steady and certain, these modern metal tables make an artful impact. Their simple yet captivating design are undeniably a stunning addition to any space. These cocktail tables or metal end tables would be well suited aside your favorite armchair or aside your wingback chair in the library. These tables can be placed indoors or outdoors (below for outdoor instructions).

This Hourglass side table is handmade in rural Pennsylvania with reclaimed metal (with the exception of the table top). It features a new piece of 11 gauge steel for the top. The pattern is drawn on the metal with soapstone, cut with a hand-held plasma cutter, hand-shaped and arc welded together.

Each piece will have its own subtle differences; they are cut, hammered, and built by hand.

22.5"h x 13"w x 13"d

The color is hand-painted with blue milk paint, giving the piece a naturally uneven and textured finish. A clear finish is applied to the entire piece.

Care: Wipe clean with a damp cloth.

using simple tools to make handmade, authentic pieces of art

We are Ben and Kate Gatski, self-taught artists who love using simple tools to make handmade, authentic pieces of art. We live and work on a hilltop in rural Pennsylvania. There, we handcraft sculpture and furniture with reclaimed materials (weathered steel and barn wood) and raise our three children. We established Gatski Metal in 2003.
We see beauty and inspiration in our surrounding landscape, our rural lifestyle, and the reclaimed. And we want to share that with you. Our home and shop sit at the top of a hill, overlooking forest and fields. We often find ourselves creating pieces based on what we see (or can imagine) before us. We believe in bringing you (our customers) pieces that make you happy and that you can enjoy forever. Each Gatski piece is built to last — so it can be a part of your story for a long time to come.
