“High Tide.” - The Self Reflection Series, 2025 36” x 48” oil on gallery depth stapled back canvas. This painting will be removed from the stretcher bars and shipped as a rolled canvas along with the bars. Your local framer will be able to assist you with assembly. This painting is a piece of my Self Reflection series. A quiet moment drifting between land and water. She stands grounded in the blue waves while her reflection is dreamy, abstract, and fluid. This series was inspired by the connection between femininity and water and the introspective moments it’s reflection can provide us. A journey of ebbs and flows, each piece is an invitation to slow down and reflect. As women we ebb and flow through life’s ups and downs, keeping our head above the water. Water doesn’t resist obstacles, but flows through and around them. It makes its way through hurdles of stones and seeps through cracks, always fluid and alive. Water can take on many forms. Whether it be a gentle trickle of a fountain or a crashing wave in the sea, much like the intricate emotions we all experience through life. In nature, water is the only way to view our own reflection and I hope this collection gives you a moment to see what comes to the surface. Varnished with archival gloss. The sides of this canvas have overspill of hot pink, blue, and peach with the remaining being white canvas. I recommend a floater frame for her. Comes with a hand signed certificate of authenticity. Please allow up to two weeks of processing and packing prior to shipping this large piece. This artwork does NOT come framed - photos are suggestions for framing and styling.

Feminine Colorful Dreams

My work is inspired by the many incredible women I have connected with throughout my life. You'll see a play of delicacy and strength, femininity, and resilient power.
After spending almost two decades as a ballet dancer, followed by a long career in women's fashion and merchandising, I chose to step away from it all for a moment of rest. This time in my life allowed me to slip back into the creative space I had been craving for so long.
An abstract nod to the seasons in my painting represent the growth and shifts of the seasons of life, while the landscapes I incorporate into my artwork give the figures a dreamlike place to exist in. Surreal dreamlands, subliminally connecting women to nature and the seasons of the earth. An environment of colorful mountains, deep oceans, and endless skies.
As women, we travel through many stages of life while still being expected to carry on in silent strength. In my figures you'll see confidence, joy, sadness, and sarcasm. An expression paused to reflect on, as if they're allowing you into their thoughts for a moment in time before returning to the expectations of the world.
