Elephants have been revered in Thailand for many centuries. Known as the strongest beasts of burden, they have also been noted for their intelligence, memory and pleasant nature. This carving depicts a mother elephant gentling its offspring
Each panel is meticulously carved out of joined panels of Monkey Pod wood. 20 inches Wide x 30 inches High. To make hanging easier, there are two embedded flush mount Keyhole hangers for a protruding screw from your wall
Hand rubbed in natural nontoxic Walnut tone oil that is polished to a matte finish. Color ranges from medium to dark Walnut brown tones that will darken as the wood ages
