Harmony is a kinetic steel sculpture that negotiates the relationship between motion and stillness. I developed it during a period of sustained friction—both material and circumstantial. The work doesn't declare endurance; it practices it, through the visible marks of revision where metal resists, yields, and finds equilibrium.
The balance point is specific: a shift of even a few degrees would collapse the tension between opposing forces. What appears as lightness carries weight. What reads as static holds potential movement. The negative space becomes load-bearing, not empty, but structural.
