Handmade Hand-Painted Decorative Bowl, Hand-Built One of a Kind Ceramic Vessel
"8"" base x 5 1/2"" tall
A little bit about my process for this one of a kind, monoprinted bowl. First the bowl is made with red clay coils, to make the form. Next, colored slip transfers are applied to the surface. Final embellishments, carved line drawings and marks, are added to the design. All steps lead to an abstract collage-like surface with blue, yellow and white. Dark marks and scratches complete the distressed and layered look. The rim is a natural landscape rim and the interior is a dark blue.
Great housewarming or wedding gift. Looks greats in any setting where you'd like an eye-catching piece."
