This hand-knotted classic rug joins the latest additions to the Homage Collection by Rug & Kilim, an ambitious custom-capable encyclopedia of periods recapturing and reinventing an unprecedented range of international styles including Oriental patterns with fresh, European influences. Drawing inspiration from the time-honored Boteh pattern in the field (sometimes called the teardrop, flame, or paisley pattern in varied cultural interpretations) the traditional repetition of this geometry plays exceptionally with the length of the runner and the soothing transitional beige blue colorway; further complemented by the repeating crab floral palmettes in the border bringing out the luster of the blue and the comfortable wash achieving this look of shabby-chic distress. Originating from one of our most reputed long-standing partner looms in India.
