I envisioned my Prayer Quilt series to be a meditation guide and a calming companion in your sacred space. Combining my hand painted fabrics with stitching and semi-precious stones on canvas, I always strive to achieve a relaxing color harmony with the use of tonal variations.
‘Ground” features faceted natural agate stones. The stones are tied to the canvas with waxed linen. Agates have been said to be grounding, connecting us with the natural energy of the earth.

This piece is a 12” x 12” canvas framed in a maple finished solid hardwood floater frame. Outer framed dimensions are 13x13x1.25 deep.
