The genesis of this collection started while experimenting with some ideas. It was mostly creation time just for me, to get out the creative lightning that often runs through my veins, and I had zero expectations. Turns out, I like what I'm creating in this zone. As I continue from this piece I've been sitting on for weeks, I like what I'm doing. I'm usually so critical of my processes. Specifically, this piece speaks to the self-sabotage and doubt we face collectively while in the midst of growth. If we can only get out of our own ways...The genesis of this collection started while experimenting with some ideas. Contemporary Art for the Soul

Lauren's work thrives on color, texture, and movement. It is infused with stories, symbolism, and a rich palette of colors that evoke the awareness of each viewer's own hero's journey. Through the fluid use of expressionist abstraction, geometric concepts that infer messages from the conscious collective, and the intentional design of light and dark elements, Lauren's work evokes universal messages both to and from the collective and she intuitively infuses these visionary concepts into each painting. The result is many rich and diverse bodies of work that personify and reflect our innate human ability to tap into and receive inspiration from the beehive of the collective consciousness that we all share.
