This abstract painting has an interesting effect: the categorical black and white colors combined with a clear geometric texture surprisingly give the effect of light, airy, soft lace. The surface of the work is covered with a glossy varnish that enhances this effect. Besides the layer of varnish protects the artwork against UV light and dust.

The sides of the canvas are part of the composition, so the painting is ready to hang without an additional frame. The hand-stretched canvas is signed on the back.

Using color in combination with texture she creates voluminous spaces on the canvas. Lu’s compositions place a strong emphasis on textures, paying special attention to industrial aesthetics. She seeks to share the magnificence, beauty, and mystique of the world through her art as well as to reflect her vision in her creations. Currently her works are in private and corporate collections internationally.
