This set of porcelain ceramic wall art flowers have been handcrafted from pure English clay here in my studio. This artwork is made up of 10 individual floral pieces in a minimalist abstract style, some finished with glossy black and clear glaze and some are raw matt porcelain. The pretty minimalist feel makes them ideal for a range of contemporary interiors. The contrasting matt and glossy textures make the work feel tactile and bring it to life.
Each flower measures around 3 inches and stands 1 inch off the wall. As pictured, they measure approx 22.5 x 10 inches.
The abstract flowers have a scallop edging, and the shape of them makes them really easy to arrange. These would be great as art above a bed, in a living room or as artwork for an entryway. They don't mind steam, so they're a great choice for bathroom art too and their flexible design means they can work in even really tricky spaces. The wall sculptures will look minimal against light or neutral backgrounds or more dramatic against rich, dark backgrounds. Their shadows move as the light changes throughout the day and I like how that gives them a life of their own.
This wall art set contains one glossy black flower, one black edged flower, 4 raw porcelain and 4 clear glazed flowers. If there's another colour you would prefer, please contact me to discuss - I have a wide range of colours available and I am happy to customise to your colour palette.
It's really easy and fun to arrange the set. If you are unsure of how to position them, then I recommend cutting circles of paper or using post it notes to the same sizes as the flowers and temporarily stick them to the wall to arrange them before installing the work permanently. This lets you play around with the arrangement, and take a step back to make sure you get them in positions you are happy with.
Each will hang over a suitable, flat headed, nail or screw in your wall that is fitted in a slight downwards angle. If it's going in a high traffic or vibration area, get in touch for our fixing recommendations.
These should be super simple to fit and we supply fitting instructions, but lease contact me if there is anything you are unsure of regarding installation.
