The Torn Ribbon series is canvas fabric hand torn strips painted with acrylic paint and sculpted to the canvas. This series evokes a state of calm and relaxation to all who view it. The pictures don't do it justice since it is a 3 dimensional piece full of dimension and texture.
The Torn Ribbon series is my most requested and I've made these in a multitude of shapes and colors so check out my other listings in case you want to see what else is available to you.
These pieces look naked without a frame so I highly recommend them. If you don't choose my frames, no worries, a local framer can also create something to your liking and I often send the piece directly to them. You have the option to purchase a metal or wood floating frame from me. They look very similar but the metal frame is ideal for budget conscious collectors whereas the wood is custom-made and high quality. The acrylic shadowbox is a bit spendy (just a warning) so if you'd like the same look, I often send the art to framers close to the buyer so they can save on cost. Message me for pricing and details on framing.
Pieces larger than 48 inches will require a wooden crate for shipping.
