Titled "Blossom XL", this set of 23 delicate wall art sculptures were formed by hand from beautiful high-fired porcelain finished in neutral tones with gold and a touch of blush pink. They are inspired by petals and leaves dancing on a breeze. Their simple, minimalist forms bring an abstract feel to a space and can be arranged in a variety of ways to suit even tricky rooms. Because each one is made in my hands, each piece is unique.
The largest measures approx 15cm and the smallest approx 12cm (approx 5.9 inches and 4.7 inches) and they stand approx 1 - 3cm from the wall. Arranged as pictured in the first two images, this set takes up a space approximately 230cm wide ( approx 7.5 ft) and 106cm high (3.5 ft). Of course, they could be stretched wider, turned on their side to be tall and narrow, or condensed to a denser more square, spiral or circular arrangement.
It's really easy and fun to arrange the set. If you are unsure of how to position them, then I recommend cutting circles of paper to the same sizes as the flowers and using blu tack to arrange them before installing the work permanently. This lets you play around with the arrangement, and take a step back to make sure you get them in positions you are happy with. Each one has a keyhole style fittings, making them super easy to hang.
Each wall petal sculpture can be easily hung on one or two small flat headed nails or screws in your wall.
I made every one by hand, and they are sculpted individually, so no two are identical.
