Elation is an organic celebration of movement and rhythm!
• Medium: enamel, acrylic, and graphite on canvas
I coated this 48x60 inch canvas with layers and layers of primal, expressive marks that build up, gaining refinement as they go. Zoom in to note the gold detailing and subtle pinks! Can you spot the ginormous “LOVE” suspended upside-down on the lower left under several layers of glaze? I love painting with glazes because the optical mixing adds luminosity, as if there is light emanating from within the work. I am often asked how do I know when my abstract paintings are complete and I know I am finished with when my eyes travel in and around and through on a poetic adventure. I paint to celebrate my humanity and welcome your humanity to pause and be present- to relax into that place where feelings have more purpose than words. Breathe & Be.
I like to incorporate the edges of the canvas into my art; this expands the work, giving the viewer a different perspective from each side. I have signed this painting on the front, and the back contains the title, materials I used, my name, signature again, the year, and the dimensions.

1. CRATE
It can be shipped in a wooden crate as it is. Additional shipping costs are associated with this option because of the size and weight of the packaging.
2. ROLLED IN A TUBE
It can be removed from the stretcher bars and rolled in a tube. This option is less expensive and will require a professional framer to restretch your painting for you.
3. LOCAL PICK-UP
I am happy to have you visit my studio to collect your new art.
