This artwork comprises 880 1.6cm dots cut from birch wood panels and faced in vintage maps. This 3D collage artwork comprises 880 raised 1.6cm dots cut from birch wood panels and faced in details taken from vintage maps. Each dot is carefully selected to create a vibrant rainbow effect, transitioning through a spectrum of colours from top to bottom. The meticulous arrangement of these map dots results in a captivating and dynamic piece that adds a burst of colour and interest to any space. I carefully select each dot by colour to create a soft ombre rainbow composition. Framed in a solid wood white box frame. We use museum quality UV perspex glaze to protect the artwork from fade.
