This handmade wool tapestry features a layered, painterly blend of color — soft turquoise, sunwashed clay, ochre, and natural cream — all hand-dyed in small batches for depth and nuance. Originally created for a mountain home in Breckenridge, Colorado, this wall hanging draws from the colors of land and sky, making it perfect for spaces rooted in nature.
Using a combination of felting, weaving, and macramé knotting techniques, the piece creates sculptural texture that stands 8 inches off the wall, casting organic shadows and drawing the eye. Its vertical scale and muted color shifts make it ideal for high ceilings, stairwells, or large feature walls.
