"The Land Under White Wings" series. This work is built around the feeling of distance between things that may once have formed a whole. Separate spaces seem to exist on opposite sides of an invisible boundary. They remain aware of one another’s presence, yet are unable to fully reconnect. Between them lies an emptiness that feels luminous, boundless, and almost silent.

Here, the sky becomes a dual symbol. It divides, widening the distance and emphasising the solitude of each part, yet at the same time it remains a shared space above them. Like flocks of storks that leave their native land yet find their way back across vast distances, the scattered parts of the composition preserve the memory of belonging to a single whole. What is far apart is still connected by one horizon, one past, and one inner sense of home.

For this reason, separation in the work is not perceived as a final rupture. The connection remains in the rhythm of the lines, in the recurring tones, and in the movement that runs through the entire composition. It is almost imperceptible, yet it continues to hold the scattered elements together—just as a shared path and the memory of the land unite those whom the sky has, for a time, set apart.
