I purchased a wall mural of Melissa Renee's "Blue Cenote" and have it installed in my bedroom. Blue Cenote at scale is incredible to behold. The artwork is calming, inspiring, and endlessly fascinating. Melissa was a joy to work with and delivery - from sample to full mural - was seamless. I commissioned these three paintings for my apartment when I first moved to Los Angeles. They have now traveled with me from apartment to apartment, and I will keep them in my repertoire for good. I love a triptych because it makes a wall look very cohesive. These are the perfect compliment to the natural vintage aesthetic I aspire to have when decorating my home. Plums are my favorite fruit, so those are a fun personalization, too.

I’ve always liked things that are not so common. I’m a bit of an individualist who appreciates style, design, or art that expresses something uniquely beautiful but that’s not seen every where you turn. That’s what drew me in to Melissa Renee’s art. I chose two abstract gouache paintings that express drama, romance, and an element of surprise. Every time I walk into the room and see them, I fall in love with them all over again. The simplicity and depth of color just make me happy—pure and simply! Very happy with the beautifully painted "Pompeii" art purchased from Ms. Renee. The feminine, elegant and serene colors combined with the tastefully applied subtle texture was just the piece envisioned to hang opposite a large floor mirror.
