I was commissioned to make four collage paintings for Walter Reed Hospital entry lobby area. The work has hidden collage material depicting Virginia maps, local parks, Gloucester iconic buildings, dates, words, and sayings making up the shapes of daffodils, leaves, and stems. It is my hope that discovering these hidden images within the collage paintings creates a sense of peace and calm for patients, family and visitors to the hospital. I thank the Lord for giving me the gift to create artwork and to share it with others.”
