Custom Large-Scale Woven Wall Hanging | Hand-Dyed Merino Wool | Inspired by Nature
Hello and welcome! I’m Camille, a fiber artist specializing in large-scale woven wall hangings, tapestries, and modern fiber art installations.
This piece was commissioned for a private residence in Boulder, CO. The client’s vision was to bring the outdoors in, so I borrowed the gentle curve of the foothills visible through the home’s window to inform the composition. The rich greens and earthy browns were drawn directly from the surrounding forest, creating a work that feels deeply connected to its environment.
Measuring 9 ft long by 4 ft tall and extending 5 inches from the wall, the installation was crafted using hand-dyed merino wool yarns, all prepared in my Denver, CO studio. I combined weaving, felting, and sculptural techniques to create a piece that offers both visual depth and natural warmth.

I hand-dye all my yarns, making it possible to perfectly match your desired palette.
