Cuna is the union between Jerissa Stone and Tuscan wool, two materials from distant places that meet in the Mediterranean Sea, which has for millennia been the cradle of cultural exchanges. It is precisely the intertwining of maritime routes that draws the paths traced by the wool in Cuna, cutting across the profile of the stone. The alternating layers of wool create a network that cradles what is placed within it, just as the sea embraces those who cross it in its invisible overlap.
