The spiral cube sculpture by Radoslav Sultov, Taiwan white marble, 130 x 130 x 130 cm, located in front of BenQ Corporation-Headquarters at 12 Jihu Road Neihu, Taipei 114 Taiwan. The sculpture has a layered spiral pattern embedded on each side of the cube. The layered vortex pyramids intersect a hollow space at the core of the cube. Sultov’s spiral cube was among the selected original sculptural works with the theme of harmony between environment and architectural space for the first BenQ International Sculpture Workshop in Taiwan in 2010. The cube has on each side a figure constructed by nesting a number of square polygons. The pattern is a result of complex sequences that can either be explained through mathematics or observed within natural forms. The cube is mounted on one corner in a specific balanced position so it can unfold its full capacity in three-dimensional space.
