Crescent is a sculptural stainless steel wall sculpture by Nitush Aroosh. Its moon-shaped form is resolved in mirror-polished steel whose undulating surface throws dynamic caustic light patterns onto the surrounding walls and ceiling — converting the wall it occupies into a living, shifting environment.
Like the moon itself, this piece reflects rather than generates light — a still object that becomes active through what falls on it, casting patterns that change with the time of day and the movement of people through the space.
The crescent form carries both celestial and elemental references simultaneously — moon and water at once. Customisable in size and colour, it adapts to a wide range of interior contexts and scales.
Founded in New Delhi by brothers Nitush and Aroosh Mahipal, Nitush Aroosh is a self-taught collectible design studio whose practice centres on transforming stainless steel into sculptural objects. Each piece is hydroformed and resolved by hand — no two are ever alike.
