This wide format star chart print is based on Antique Astronomy Constellation Maps, and is rich in blues with bold lines and lettering.
Comes in Vertical and Horizontal options (44" x 24", or 24" x 44"). Frame not included, print only.

Each of the above Circular Maps is the point overhead, or the zenith of the observer; while the horizon, containing the principal compass points, is indicated by the circular line near the circumference.
The large numbers inside the Maps are for facilitating the use of the twelve square Star Charts, each number indicating the position of the sky, of the centre of its corresponding Chart."

My shop features my original art and designs as well as restored Antiquarian prints that I've collected over the years. I spend a great deal of time restoring my antique prints and redesigning them to work as wall art, giving them new life with rich colors, fine linework, crisp detail, and a range of wall art sizes.
•• PRINT QUALITY ••
Unlike most print sellers on Etsy, I do not use the large print fulfillment houses but print and trim every piece of art in my studio to ensure the highest quality. Through much experimentation I've developed a process and set of materials that create the highest quality Giclée prints you'll find anywhere. They are printed with archival inks on 100% cotton heavy-weight Fine Art Paper that has a slight texture similar to watercolor paper, which gives the prints a beautiful velvet-like Matte finish. These are fine art Giclée prints - not posters!

Most of my prints are available in the following standard sizes:
- 8" x 10"
- 11" x 14"
- 16" x 20"
- 19.75" x 27.5" (sized to fit in IKEA's large 'Ribba' frames with no matting.)
- 24 x30"
Many Prints are also available in larges sizes up to 40" x 60".
