The Colorado Welcome Centers are designed to guide visitors in exploring Colorado. They incorporate a large scale map with activity/site symbols, a brochure display system, and a photo display room, all coded to six regions flagged by colored parallelograms. A Colorado landscape painting in the entry introduces the parallelogram flag. Exterior glyphs of animals and nature appear on the exterior walls. Shaped paintings of geometric landscape and animals were made for the interior walls.
