This coffee and teacup is the perfect gift for her. Just the right rustic coffee mug for coffee lovers. This portrait cup is wonderful for hot and cold drinks as well. The portrait is carved on porcelain slip and will make a special housewarming gift.
What’s special about these handmade pottery mugs? On the surface, I have hand-carved the portrait images using the sgraffito* technique.

≜ Hand-carved design using sgraffito* technique
≜ Clear, non-toxic, matte glaze
≜ Fired in a kiln at 1200 degrees Celsius
≜ Height: 5-1/2" //13.5 cm
≜ Diameter: 3-1/2" // 9 cm
*Sgraffito: a form of decoration made by scratching through a surface to reveal a lower layer of a contrasting color, typically done in plaster or stucco on walls, or on slip brushed on ceramics before firing.

≜ The custom handmade pottery may vary from sample images. This slight variation makes each piece truly unique and one-of-a-kind.
≜ Glaze colors may also appear differently on various computers or screen devices, or in changed lighting. All images are taken in natural indirect sunlight.
