Codex is a handcrafted artisan rug from our Tribal Collection, handwoven using a considered blend of Etosha, Mohair Tan, Karakul Fawn, and Karakul Black Beauty. This layered composition creates an earthy, grounded surface defined by tonal depth, natural texture, and material richness. The Etosha base forms a stable, finely looped foundation that gives the rug structure and clarity, allowing each natural fibre to retain its individual character while contributing to the overall balance of the design.

Mohair Tan introduces warmth and a gentle curl, softening the surface with a subtle tactile presence and refined movement underfoot. Karakul Fawn adds an organic mid-tone that reinforces the rug’s natural palette, while Karakul Black Beauty provides the deepest contrast, defining the pattern with a dense, smooth fibre that lends clarity and visual structure. The interplay between these four yarns creates a composition rooted in tonal nuance and artisanal integrity, delivering depth without relying on overt contrast or decorative excess.

Expertly handwoven by skilled artisans, Codex is designed as a long-lasting heirloom piece that balances durability with tactile sophistication. Its earthy palette and structured composition allow it to integrate seamlessly into both contemporary and timeless interiors, making it an ideal choice for living rooms, bedrooms, and curated spaces. As part of the Tribal Collection, Codex embodies luxury sustainable home décor, natural fibre area rugs, and heirloom-quality craftsmanship for refined global interiors.
