Toshihiko Yoshimoto is the creator of COM WORK STUDIO based out of Shigaraki, Japan.
All the soil used for his pieces are from his home town and fired in one of six ancient kilns in Japan. Since every piece is handmade, it will have a slight natural variance in color and size.
This is a yakijime type that is baked without using glaze, and a work that uses a production method that expresses the expression of cracks in the soil on the front. By intentionally using the cracks as an expression, a unique design that cannot be found anywhere else is created.
The bottom of the pot has 3 legs and a drainage hole, so you can plant the plant as it is.
Features a 3/4" drainage hole at bottom.
