Cages combine wooden cells with a hexadecagonal stainless steel ring. This results in an interesting structure that traps the light source.

Created with wood veneer cells joined by a hexadecagonal stainless steel ring, Cages is the structure that traps the light source but leaves spaces where the light escapes. This creates interesting light beam projections.

The electrician had a little bit of a hard time installing as he said there was a bracket missing but eventually rigged it. Looks beautiful!!

I found the final product I received to be of lower quality than I expected for the price. While it does look just like the image on the website, I was disappointed to find out that the materials are rather flimsy making the product in real life feel cheap.

We love this light! It’s the perfect size for a small entryway. The creator of this light was timely in communicating and addressing our customization requests. Once we were aligned on the design, quickly shipped. The light was packaged beautifully with notes to the delivery drivers and arrived in perfect condition. Couldn’t ask for a better experience.

This is in the color white and is stunning in person! Wonderful experience with the seller - he responded promptly to all inquiries, sent samples immediately upon request, plus even video chatted with us to answer an installation question!
Regarding installation, the lampshades do require a little patience and attention to detail (if installed the wrong side, they will droop, so be sure to attach the holes exactly as shown in the installation video).
I will definitely be shopping here again!

Incredible product from Traum! Detail in-person is even better than the photos. Shipping was very timely. Light fixture is very well-made. I work in construction and suspect the installation will not be friendly to the average US homeowner. Electrician recommended. So glad I ordered from Traum; I’m hopeful to incorporate another one of their pieces in the future.

The Wood Lighting from Traum is amazing. We built a new room that combined farmhouse styling with the modern design elements. The Traum Wood Lighting complements both the raw wood beams as well as the black trim around the doors and windows. The unique twist design provided a modern and unique styling that match our decor. The best part is that at night the wood grain of the lights glow bathing the room in a warm light providing the perfect ambiance.

I have had the recent pleasure and honor to work with Mr. Carlos Giacinto, General Manager of Traum Lighting. I fell in love with Traum's fixtures for my dining room but wanted a color they did not offer. I emailed the business with photos of my desired color and a couple of questions. Carlos promptly responded with 5 sample shades, one of which fit the bill. He also advised me to order 2 of the chandeliers I wanted to properly fill the space in my dining room. Soon I received my sconces & chandeliers. The color was perfect in the room. Unfortunately, the 2 sconces were damaged in transit. Upon receiving photos of the damage, Carlos promptly sent me 2 replacements at no cost to me. Everyone who sees the room with the new lights tells me its stunning and I agree! Please take a serious look at Traum's beautiful products and take advantage of the opportunity to work with such an honorable and professional individual as Carlos Giacinto

I had such a great experience working with the Traum designer, Carlos, as I was considering what item to purchase - and then what color of veneer to choose. We went with the natural color. He was so helpful and prompt in answering any questions I had. Now that the item is up in our house it is one of the best things we have ever purchased. I love how it spreads the light and it looks great from all of the angles you see it as you go up the stairs. It is graceful and so beautifully designed. It was very easy to put together and I could change the quality of the light by choosing a variety of bulbs. These are a warm glow Edison-type bulb and I love it for the warm light it provides. We have this fixture on a dimmer and it works perfectly in our space. WE LOVE THIS LIGHT!
