One-of-a-kind Boho Fiber Art for your Modern Home

Mercy Designs Boho is a creative outlet that shares one-of-a-kind modern boho fiber art. It aims to provide some uniquely handcrafted wall hangings and statement pieces for the home. Inspired by nature and current home decor trends, the handmade products are woven, made out of fibers and other materials that are ethically and sustainably sourced.

**A Quick History**

January 2017 - Mercy arrived in the US from the Philippines and on the following month, married her now-husband Jason Lupo. With a new life to adjust, new culture, environment, food and everything, she never thought it would be so difficult and extra challenging for her. From time to time, she was missing her family and things were just so rough for her since this was her first time to be this far from them. Moreover, because of the time difference, things are a bit more challenging to reach them out for communication. She needed an outlet to cope with all the negative emotions she was going through so she decided to decorate their apartment by making diy decor and practicing calligraphy. Back in her college years, she used to make things and gifted them to friends and family. She also loved sending handwritten letters to those whom she cared for. So, getting back to her creative side was not that difficult for her.

On the weekends and holidays, together with her husband, she usually spends her time visiting her in-laws and friends. With this many time spent with her new family, she learned from her mother-in-law how to crochet. Soon after, she started making some crocheted hot pads and blankets.

Present Time - Few years after, she and her husband have three girls. Whenever she has the time, she loves using recycled materials available at home and make them into toys, decor or anything she can find them useful again. One day, while she was going through her previous crochet projects, she realized that she got plenty of spare yarn. With the thought of adding more decor for her daughter's room, she used those yarns to make some wall hangings. Thrilled with the result, she posted them on her social media and family and friends liked the idea. Overwhelmed with many positive responses, she took a leap of faith and started selling online. She wanted to help her growing family's financial need so despite being a busy mother of three small children, she works so hard to make more designs, build her social media presence and continually researching things on how to improve.

In the rare occurrence of a lost or damaged shipment, client must make me aware of the situation within 30 days of shipment in order to be able to file a claim with the carrier for a possible reimbursement.
