“When I was working on this piece, I was trying to hold onto the feelings from a laid-back day on the lake. I remember watching the sunlight dance on the water and feeling the rhythm of the gentle waves as the sun began to set. My goal was keep the painting as real and soothing as the warm sun and the calm water were to me.”
