Have you noticed calypso, green and even orange lizards walking around your yard? It is called the tenuous lizard or slender lizard (scientific name: Liolaemus tenuis), it is native to Chile and is in a vulnerable state of conservation. As many other animals have sexual dimorphism, this means that the color pattern of males is different from that of females, something very common in animals. In this case, the most vivid color pattern is that of the males, colors that were the inspiration for this first work in the Bio-color Series.
Bio-color is an expression of admiration towards the fascinating color patterns that the animal world offers us. Pieces of different sizes and styles where color takes center stage.
