Conceptualized and brought to life by Studio Directors Yuchen and Judy, this bespoke sideboard represents the pinnacle of the Dynasty Artisan design philosophy. Drawing inspiration from the architectural elegance of the Ming Dynasty, Yuchen and Judy meticulously engineered the piece to balance intricate, traditional lattice woodwork with a sleek, commanding silhouette. Their vision was to create a living artifact—one that completely transcends the boundaries of conventional storage. By curating the uncompromising Imperial Sovereign Red Heart wood and insisting on the laborious, ancient hot beeswax finish, the directors ensured that each made-to-order commission carries both the tactile depth of an Eastern heirloom and the bold, clean versatility demanded by contemporary luxury spaces.
Craftsmanship and Finish
Rejecting suffocating modern chemical lacquers, this piece is entirely finished using the ancient Hot Beeswaxing technique. Pure natural beeswax is thermally fused directly into the microscopic pores of the wood. This allows the material to breathe while creating a structural evolution. Over time, the wax polymerizes with the wood's native oils, developing a deep, dynamic chatoyancy and a glowing patina that can never be replicated by factory sprays.

Designed for absolute spatial versatility, this cabinet seamlessly bridges Eastern and Western living aesthetics.
