Designed and curated by Yuchen and Judy, this collection represents the 'Craft Evolution' of the traditional scholar’s fan. Each frame is crafted from winter-cut bamboo, hand-polished through a month-long process to remove natural oils until the fibers achieve a translucent, jade-like luster (Yuzhu).
A hallmark of this collection is the 'Hidden Nail' construction—an advanced joinery technique that conceals the pivot pin within the bamboo frames. This results in a seamless, minimalist silhouette that prioritizes both structural integrity and visual purity.
Personalization & Calligraphy Tiers:
Each fan is hand-inked on premium Xuan paper. You may provide your own text or let our studio curate a selection from classic Tang and Song Dynasty poetry to reflect your vision.
1. Basic: Up to 4 characters (Ideal for minimalist motifs).
2. Literati Verse: 5 - 60 characters (Perfect for poetic couplets).
3. Master's Selection: 61 - 100 characters (For complex narratives).
