Creating colorful, textured, and highly detailed paintings using only palette knives.

Ann Gorbett paints exclusively with a palette knife to create her oil paintings because of the thick and expressive strokes of color she can create with it. Ann holds a Fine Arts degree from Miami University of Ohio and has worked as a professional graphic designer in Boston for over 30 years. She began painting steadily in oil again in 2007 after taking a palette knife workshop and was immediately hooked. Her work is currently represented by The Red Inn in Provincetown, MA and The Artist’s Studio and Gallery at Patriot Place in Foxboro, MA. Ann lives in Walpole, MA and is a member of the Foxboro Art Association.
