Autumn Bliss – Reclaimed Wood Tree Wall Art

Lead Time: 8–10 weeks
Autumn Bliss captures that fleeting moment when fall fully arrives—the wind begins to move through the trees, leaves let go, and the warmth of sunset fades into the cool glow of night.
This piece was inspired by the energy of autumn: swirling leaves carried on the wind, deepening skies streaked with color, and the quiet presence of a rising full moon illuminating the crisp evening air. There’s motion in this work, but also calm—a balance between change and stillness.
Constructed using a multi-layered technique, Autumn Bliss has remarkable depth and dimension. As you move through the room and light shifts across the surface, the artwork transforms—branches stretch, shadows shift, and the piece truly comes alive. This is art meant to be experienced in person.
The wood used is a carefully curated mix of reclaimed material gathered over many years from old barns, houses, and fences in my local area. Every board carries its own history, and the patina you see—grays, reds, earth tones, and weathered textures—is the result of decades of natural aging and exposure to the elements. Most of the color in this piece is entirely natural, untouched by stains or paint, which is what makes it so rare and special.
More than 160 hours went into the creation of this artwork. It lived as a vision in my mind for years before I finally brought it to life. Every cut, placement, and layer was done by hand, guided by intuition rather than templates. Once a piece of wood is placed, it’s permanent—there are no second chances. That process is demanding, but it’s also what gives this piece its soul.
The artwork is sealed with two coats of a low-VOC, water-based clear finish to protect the wood while preserving its raw texture and natural character.
Each piece is hand signed and dated on the back and includes a custom laser-engraved plaque, making it a true collector’s piece.
