Made with old world craftsmanship in solid wood joinery, this table is built to pass down through generations. The lumber it's made with has already seen 150+ years of Nevada history in the Truckee meadows. Milled locally here in the valley below lake tahoe, just 15 mins west of Virginia City, where the majority of the best old growth timbers ended up down in the mines. This table is built from the same lot. Scarred by a slow turning mill blade worn down by miles of cuts through old growth sugar pine and cedar, dragging a broken tooth through the cuts leaving these beautiful symmetrical patterns. An imperfection at the time that gives this table even more character now. The lower accent pieces are hand cut pearled maple cut from rounds saved from the landfill. Beautiful in their own right.
