Made with hand-knotted wool originating circa 1910-1920, this antique Persian runner celebrates a classic Gabbeh rug chevron pattern venerated in this distinguished family of Oriental rugs of tribal sensibility. The mirroring of the pattern along a vertical axis is a seldom-seen complement to the geometry, creating a unique sense of movement and highlighting the richness of red, beige-brown, and complementary orange-brown and black wrapped within the subtle juxtaposition of meandering border motifs. Further enjoying exceptional condition lending to its rarity, collectibility, and versatile 3x6 size well-suited to hallways, entryways, and various projects.
