Clipping series – understand
When partial information and structural understanding overlap, the whole of the subject can be grasped in its essence.
Even without directly seeing everything, that understanding can still be established.
In this series, extracted fragments and abstracted structures are presented simultaneously.
Information as personal memory or impression connects with the framework that supports the whole, allowing perception to reach the entirety of the subject.
For example, in a book, remembering a striking passage corresponds to “Be conveyed,” while grasping the structure through something like a table of contents corresponds to “frame.”
When these two overlap, it becomes possible to understand the book as a whole.
Sharing the same title as the main series and originating from the same source, this series explores the state in which understanding itself is formed.
