This is Don Yacovella's walnut mid century modern style lounge chair in this home in Philadelphia. The fabric is a nice turquoise and is one of his eight standard fabric choices. Don Yacovella used walnut with tons of color variation for this piece it is a truly one of a kind look. This chair was inspired by a vintage 50's mid century modern lounge chair. The arms have a nice graceful curve that he think really makes this chair stand out from all the others.

I started out my career as a custom stair builder.After building thousands of staircases and railings I began taking on custom cabinetry work.I have also restored several one hundred plus year old homes from top to bottom.Now my business has evolved into custom furniture.Thanks to this website and Etsy.com I can now make a living doing what I always wanted to do in the first place which is build furniture.I mostly build Mid Century Modern and Industrial Style Furniture.My work is very much influenced my George Nakashima Sam Maloof and Wharton Esherick.
