A Little Desert Soul is imagined as a solitary wanderer crossing the desert. A quiet presence, born and shaped by it.
Entirely handcrafted, the piece combines patinated concrete, copper, and fabric, blending raw mineral textures with delicate, tactile elements.

My pieces are intended to be companions more than possessions. I give my objects organic, animated qualities, hoping that people will grow attached to them the way they would to a cherished animal.

Vincent Decat is a Paris-based artist and designer.
Graduated from the Design Academy of Eindhoven, he creates collectible design pieces that integrate sculptural thinking into everyday use. His work is characterized by forms that suggest life and movement, pieces that seem to breathe or shift. These animal-like qualities transform functional objects into personal and engaging pieces. By creating pieces that feel almost alive, he encourages a relationship of care more than consumption. They become companions that people want to preserve and cherish over time.
