Hand-knotted in wool from Turkey circa 1960-1960l, a 5x8 mid-century modern rug in art deco style from Rug & Kilim’s growing Mid-Century Pasha Collection. Featuring a well defined geometric pattern in peach and black on a red and green backdrop, the rug makes a scintillating take in this smart style, almost reminiscent of a Scandinavian influence among Müren’s renowned post-war European influences. Further enjoying the distressed shabby-chic meets boho-chic appeal of this lineage, an excellent choice for an array of modern projects welcoming Scandinavian Art Deco sensibilities on a dark scale of unusual colors.
