Valérie Hallier

Born in France, Valérie Hallier came to NYC with a Fulbright Scholarship and graduated from the School of Visual Arts in Computer Arts. Her early multimedia work received prizes at ACM Siggraph, SCAN Arts Symposium (PA), Ars Electronica in Finland and Anima Mundi in Brazil. Most recently Hallier was the recipient of a Contemporary Art Foundation grant and a MAAF (NYSCA & WaveFarm) grant. Her work has been shown internationally at NARS Foundation, A.I.R. gallery, BAC, BRIC, LMCC Arts Center, SOMArts (CA), the ESAM (France), Liverpool Independent Biennial (UK)… Valerie worked on public art commissions for the Drawing Center and LMCC (NYC) and was chosen for the first BRIC Biennial in Brooklyn in 2014. Artist residencies include Pioneer Works, NARS, Trestle, Harvestworks, LMCC arts Center on Governors Island and currently, 4Heads Portal AIR.IMPACT
