Bespoke hardwood home and office articles created to inspire, serve and persist. Designed and hand-crafted in America by artist and furniture builder, Cole Berggrun.

I design and make aesthetic and functional Nordic and Japanese-inspired (Japandi) furniture and home goods from my small woodshop in Sterling, MA. My work features permanent and removable hardwood joinery that brings modern features to classically made heirloom furniture. I produce novel designs in small batches that you can find in my storefront and can also work with you to create a custom one-of-a-kind piece of furniture.

The articles I make are designed to stand the test of time and age beautifully, so I don't use any veneers, stains or dyes - just solid hardwood and my own hand made furniture finish. This means the products I make are are less prone to chipping, wearing or fading and ultimately last much longer than products that "fake" the look of true hardwoods.

In addition to adding some novel home product innovations in 2024, I will also be making some new furniture articles to the store that reflect my values of authenticity, purpose and longevity.
