a story about the people and places that inhabit them. These elements inspire me to create art that is
both expressive and evocative, that captures the essence of the world around us.
In my paintings, I use mark making as a way to tap into my inner child, to access a sense of freedom and
spontaneity that is essential to my creative process. I work in layers, building up the canvas with bold
strokes of color and texture, then selectively revealing and obscuring different areas to create a sense of
depth and complexity. Each layer is a conversation with the canvas, a dialogue between my intuition and
my intention, until the final result feels complete and satisfying.
Ultimately, my goal as an artist is to create work that resonates with others, that speaks to the universal
human experiences and invite viewers to connect with their own emotions and perceptions.. Through my
art I hope to inspire others to see the world in a new way, to find beauty and meaning in unexpected
places, and to embrace the power of creativity to transform our lives and our world.
