An avid traveler, I've lived all over the US and Europe. My husband, Mike, served in the military for many years before we moved back to my hometown. While I loved immersing myself in new cultures, constantly relocating was lonely at times. It was then that I taught myself to sew. Ever honing my skills with sewing classes in each new place, I most recently completed a course at Project Runway's Mood Fabrics in NYC.
A passion for design + sewing skills acquired from all over the world. Enter: SewLaCo.
Once a one-woman show where I cut, sewed, and packaged each pillow cover by hand (during baby’s naptime, no less!), SewLaCo is now a fast-growing brand curated by a team of artisans.
