Each piece you see here is lovingly handmade or curated by Scottish ceramic artist Laura Pearson in her design studio in Japan “OCEAN RIDGE KILN”. With a strong connection to nature and Japanese design, Laura uses her knowledge to present one of a kind pieces to be treasured and used. She hopes to contribute to the movement away from mass produced, throw away items to the appreciation of personalized, unique and handmade objects that only you and those closest to you can enjoy and experience. Laura mainly uses a slow hand moulding technique to produce organic forms and textures. ‘THE KILN HOUSE’ is a homeware collection curated by Laura and sourced mainly from Japan, the collection brings together Laura’s passion for interior design, textiles and antiques.IMPACT
