I was born in Reading, in England in 1971. I arrived in France in 1989 where I pursued my art studies.
After studying interior architecture and fashion in Paris, I collaborated, in 1995 in the preparation and setting up of the Premiere Vision exhibitions and then went on to doing work experience at Dior in 1996. After 4 years working as a style director for a household linen firm in Paris, I decided to leave Paris in order to be a freelance designer in decoration.
I left Paris in the year 2000 and moved to Normandy where nature and authenticity were and still are ominously present.
In the heart of the Normandy countryside and installed in an old mill close to a winding river, I created a cosy nest, favorable to a stable family life and a harmonious work environment.
Close to elements such as earth, water and plants, from which I draw my inspiration, I could wholeheartedly create and design to my hearts content.
It was very naturally, in 2004, that I created my first collection of tiles made from clay. These tiles were created from imprints left by nature, textures, leaf structures, which were naturally at my disposal in the privileged and intact environment surrounding me.
My collection, natural and authentic, is a glimpse of nature, a return to our origins, where the beauty of the elements call for calm and serenity which have become so rare today.
