I live by this quote, most fulfilled when I am creating something I can be proud of. I love seeing the results of much determination, passion and skill in the product that grew from a single thought, to become reality.
Growing up around my father’s mechanical workshop meant I was always fixing things or making my own projects from a very young age. After a bachelor in Industrial Design and various positions as an industrial designer I found myself making my own lamp designs using the laser cutter and routers at work. I went on to learn a lot more about lighting at Mance Design where I worked for a few years on the custom designed jobs. Then while living in Denmark for a year, I worked at Lego headquarters as a concept designer and for Riis Retail designing furniture and lighting for fashion shops around Europe. After another year of traveling I returned home to Melbourne and completed a small business management course in order to fulfill my dream of running my own business - conceptualizing and crafting my own designs.
