"Sculptural wall reliefs inspired by landscapes, erosion and the quiet language of natural forms"
DY Atelier is a collaborative studio founded by Dashu and Yuru, a creative duo exploring the intersection of sculpture, texture and interior space. Their work focuses on minimalist wall reliefs shaped by the visual language of natural landscapes: river paths, erosion patterns, stone formations and organic geometry. Rather than illustrating nature directly, the studio translates these forces into calm sculptural compositions where surface, light and shadow become the main elements of expression. Each artwork is constructed through a layered process using plaster, mineral sand and hand-shaped relief forms. The textured surfaces interact with natural light throughout the day, creating subtle shifts in shadow and depth that make the work feel quietly alive within a space. Yuru's background in interior architecture informs the spatial balance and architectural character of the pieces, while Dashu's design approach shapes the structural rhythm and material experimentation behind each composition. Working from their studio in Europe, the duo creates original works and custom commissions for contemporary interiors, focusing on pieces that bring calm presence, tactile materiality and visual balance into living spaces. Their practice is guided by a simple idea: art should not dominate a space, but quietly transform the atmosphere within it.
