Damla

Bursa, Turkey

My name is Damla, I was born in Istanbul, Turkey in 1986. I am a landscape architect who is in love with fiber art since 2019. I am currently living in the beautiful city of Bursa with my husband and my baby boys who are the biggest inspirations of my life.

My first experiences as a fiber artist were natural macrame wall hangings. Later on, modern macrame started to interest me much more and my work gained weight in this direction. I started to use feathers / leaves as the main object of my works and my designs became varied and upgraded with special requests of my customers.

Nature is the biggest inspiration and object of desire in my work. I see myself at the beginning of the road and my biggest goal is to express my feelings and my life experiences with the art of macrame using this inspiration of nature.

I love to design my wall hangings together with my customers. I do my best to ensure that the result is better than my clients’ dreams. So please feel free to contact me to share your thoughts and questions in anytime you want!
